Debut solo album from John Lennon following the Beatles’ breakup. John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band was originally recorded between September and October of 1970 following the primal therapy that Lennon and Yoko Ono had undertaken in the spring of the same year. The therapy strong influenced the lyrical themes, and the intense and raw style of the album. Lennon touches on personal issues and psychological traumas, his abandonment by his parents, and the things he truly believes in. Includes the songs: “Mother,” “Hold On,” “Working Class Hero,” “Love,” and “God.” Eleven tracks in all. Released by Calderstone Productions Limited on 180 gram vinyl.
