Replacement styli for Ortofon’s VNL DJ cartridge. The difference between the three options are their respective compliances (springiness/rigidity) and by extent their recommended tracking forces. A stylus’ compliance tells you how firm or soft the suspension of a cartridge’s stylus assembly is. Stylus compliance and effective mass of the tonearm + cartridge together determine the mechanical resonance frequency of the arm/cartridge system. The three options provided by Ortofon enable a DJ to get that “just right” feel for scratching & back-queuing.
“DJs can easily identify which stylus type best suits their individual DJ style and enables their absolute best performance capability.” – Ortofon
