The sky was all purple, there were people runnin’ everywhere. No one knows for sure who actually illustrated the incredible cover art from Prince’s breakthrough album from 1982, but it is widely believed that the Purple One himself was behind the drawing. The clues are all there, hidden in the psychedelic letters and numbers – elements of previous albums (the eyes and “Rude Boy” pin are from Controversy) to the letters in the “I” giving a subtle shoutout to his backing band “And The Revolution” backwards. Features front and back print on appropriately purple, all cotton tees.
