In our opinion, the best turntablist mix to date. Originally released on cassette back in 1994(!), the scratching in this mix still schools the cuts of today. And on top of that you get the most classic breaks and tracks manipulated Q-bert style. He is able to seamlessly blend tracks together with doubles and scratches that’ll put sucka DJs in their place. Witness Rush’s Tom Sawyer broken down into a likable song, Eddie Bo’s Hook and Sling doubled-up like you always wanted, and James Brown scratched like only Q can.. This mix is like the perfect piece of sweet alien fruit. We can not stress enough how essential this is.
