Konk is the 2nd album from Brighton’s The Kooks, and it follows up the group’s popular debut, Inside In/Inside Out. Named after the studio (owned by The Kinks’ Ray Davies) the tracks were recorded at, Luke Pritchard & gang present a more polished effort, once again taking style cues from classic Brit-pop/rock and writing fun, energetic, and accessible songs. Konk is also the last album to feature founding member Max Rafferty, who would leave the before the release of the LP.
