Double vinyl, 180g pressing of Velvet Underground’s legendary show at La Cave in 1968. At the time of this live recording, the Velvet Underground was going through major changes. John Cale had left the band and his replacement had only been in the band for a couple days (this was his first performance with the band)! Despite all this, VU turn in an incredible performance at the small Cleveland coffee house, playing several then-unreleased songs with tons of energy and awesome guitar solos. This is actually one of the very few recordings from the period between White Light/White Heat and their self-titled album, and the awesome performance definitely makes up for the lo-fi recording.
