One of the most sought-after italo 12″s finally gets reissued. Wanexa’s “The Man From Colours” usually tops out many italo collector’s want lists, though seldom does a copy ever surfaces for less than $400. Originally released in 1982 on Discomagic, the track has gained cult status with lovers of the cosmic italo sound with impeccable production by the powerhouse duo of Francesco Rago and Gianluigi Farina (of ‘Lectric Workers and Decadance fame. They absolutely nail everything here, from the sick percussion track to the haunting synths and vocal melodies. Now you can stop playing it off that Panama compilation and rock it on 12″. Comes in pic sleeve with convincing label repros. Must have for the italo aficionados.
