Late career album from the legendary Willie Nelson. Teatro was originally released in 1998 and was recorded in an old movie theater in Oxnard, California. It was produced by Daniel Lanois (U2, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Peter Gabriel, Emmylou Harris) and features backing vocals by Emmylou Harris, as well as backing by regular Nelson harmonicist Mickey Raphael and Nelson’s sister, Bobbie Nelson, on piano. Includes the songs: “Darkness on the Face of the Earth,” “My Own Peculiar Way,” “Home Motel,” “I Just Can’t Let You Say Goodbye,” and “I’ve Just Destroyed the World.” Fourteen tracks in all. Released by Modern Classics Recordings on gold double vinyl with a gatefold “tip-on” uncoated jacket.
