Smoking cigarettes and wearing skinny jeans. Jesse Rose gives a tip of his hat to the classic French House sound with his 2014 single “Fly Tonight”. With sweeping, filtered out melodies and a trudging bassline, this floor burner has all the elements that Daft Punk and others championed into a sound all their own. To top it all off, Mr. Rose had the tracked mixed by long time Daft Punk collaborator Alex Gopher and features a familiar sleeve that nods back to the days of Roulé Records. The flip side features a Dub version that strips back the vocals but keeps all the good time party vibes that you came for.
