Heavy prog vibes reissued for the 1st time! Jumbo’s eponymous debut gets dug out of obscurity by the good folks at Vinyl Magic. Jumbo was a pseudonym for Italian singer/songwriter Alvaro Fella who caught the ear of the influential Phillips label in 1972. They would eventually release a the first three Jumbo albums (the following, DNA is a grail among vinyl collectors), each showcasing the bands penchant for funky, bluesy, proggy tracks. Also worth mentioning tons of sample-able moments on this one for the diggers and producers. Pressed up on swirl black and silver vinyl.
