Kleeer’s “Tonight” hardly needs any introduction. In addition to a slew of official and not-so-official 12″ and 7″ releases, it can be found on this, the NYC band’s penultimate 1984 full length, which also happens to be their most sought-after LP. At this point in their career, Kleeer had fully embraced the vocoder, a distinctive element on “Tonight” that elevates the already masterful boogie groove to a whole other level. Also check out “Break,” “Go For It” and the title track. First time vinyl reissue on ‘telephone red’ colored wax limited to 1000 copies, recommended.
