New edit series from an unknown source in the streets of New York city. Rumor has it that they were put together by a legendary NY record store owner from a personal stash of edits constructed back in the day for club play. Whatever the case, the two sides of this record sound as good as ever. Side A is all chunky guitar over a driving disco beat with some sort of Middle Eastern tinge to it. Kinda has the feel of Baris K’s Istanbul edit series which in no way is a bad thing. Things take a turn for the slow and psychedelic on the flip. It’s quite a cosmic trip down the razor blade into the underbelly of the New York disco edit scene. Super limited pressing. Recommended.
