Celebrated live performance from Nirvana. Live At Reading was recorded at the England’s Reading Festival in the summer of 1992. The recording captures the band at the height of their success as Nevermind was conquering the charts and Kurt Cobain was crowned “the voice of a generation.” Cobian showed up on stage in a wheelchair feigning the ill state that he had been rumored to be in before the concert. The band would then go on to rip through a 25 song, 90 minute performance for an audience of 50,000. It was an event that would bring the band closer together and provide some sense of healing at least for a little while. Includes the songs: “Breed,” “In Bloom,” “Come As You Are,” “Polly,” “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Negative Creep,” and “All Apologies.” Twenty-four tracks in all.
