Top notch deep house vibes from the leaders in the game. Originally released in 1995 on the Prescription imprint and still sounds as fresh today as it did many years ago. Joshua brings the heat, on the long side “Let The Spirit” with a deep, funky floor filler sure to raise the intensity on the dancefloor. Side B starts with two giants of house music – Chez Damier and Ron Trent with the timeless track “Foot Therapy.” The track flips some big piano samples to transform it into a contagious dancefloor burner. Abacus ends the side with an equally deep and beautiful stepper, “Come On” worthy to stand up to (and possibly tower over) any new release. In fact, one listen and it’s easy to hear where contemporary artists are getting influence for their sound. It’s also easy to hears why this is considered to be one of Prescription’s best releases. Highly recommended.
