Second studio album from Bay Area Punk Rockers Rancid. With initial response to Let’s Go being underwhelming, it took other like-minded bands such as Green Day, Pennywise, and Bad Religion getting more attention to trigger their rise to success. Unlike their kin, Rancid’s style was a less pop-oriented and slightly more working man’s Punk Rock in a style similar to The Clash. With tracks like “Salvation”, “The Ballad of Jimmy & Johnny”, and album opener “Nihilism” setting the pace for a F*ck The Man romp.
