Timely repress of Robert Hood’s Dancer 12″ from 2001, part of M-Plant’s Perpetual Masters series. It may seem pretty obvious to the disco heads, but Hood’s edit of Gino Socio’s “Dancer” is designed to destroy dancefloors with a super slow build up the just keeps climbing. Definitely a powerful mix tool for disco, house, or even techno sets! “The Greatest Dancer” shows more of Hood’s affinity for the filter, freaking loops from the infectious Sister Sledge classic of the same name.
