In demand album from Leyland Kirby’s Caretaker alias back in print! When An Empty Bliss Beyond This World was released in 2011 we started listening to it in the office (thanks to Shota the Database) and it quickly became a morning favorite with it’s haunting melodies and somber moods. Little did we know the record would soon sky-rocket in price and was super in-demand thanks to a small batch import pressing. Kirby’s precise edits of old jazz 78s create a languid atmosphere that is easy to get lost in. It’s easy to see why the first pressings have gone so quickly. Thankfully this one is back in print! Released by History Always Favours The Winners on black vinyl housed in a full color sleeve with artwork by Ivan Seal.
