Sophomore studio album from Manchester’s The Chemical Brothers. Dig Your Own Hole was originally recorded between 1995 and 1997, and was the duo’s first UK number one album. After the success of their debut, Exit Planet Dust, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons further developed their psychedelic breakbeat sound. Using more rock elements, they were able to reach a larger audience. It’s electronic music that rocks hard with just enough style and innovation thrown into the mix. Includes the songs: “Block Rockin’ Beats,” “Elektrobank,” and “Don’t Stop the Rock.” Eleven tracks in all.
