The Horrors return with another gorgeous full length for hungry ears! It’s been 2 year since their the last album (2012’s brilliant Skying, and the UK band continue to impress us with their scope of sonic vision. The aptly titled Luminous finds The Horrors further investigating a sound that fuses shoegaze, krautrock, and post punk, while pushing into that late 80’s psychedelic Hacienda vibe. Obviously it’s a far cry from their shock-goth debut Strange House, but it is a close cousin to Skying, which is obviously a good thing. Check the sounds for yourself on “Chasing Shadows,” “First Day Of Spring,” “In And Out Of Sight,” and “I See You.” Pressed on deluxe 180g vinyl and housed in a beautiful gatefold sleeve, MP3 download included.
