Two slo-mo disco burners from LA based Woolfy. It’s all about the “City Lights,” a track that packs some island vibes into an indie dance party chant along. This one reminds me of the Kings Of Convenience jamming with James Murphy on the beach. “17” finishes where “City Lights” left off, twisting the acoustic guitar riff into another dimension. It’s a little more concerned with what’s happening on the dancefloor than the beach, and there’s a lot happening there. This is on some sunrise and you still feel beautiful ish. If you’re looking for something a little more Chicago style then take a bite out of Francis Inferno Orchestra’s remix of “17.” He brings it in a way that only an Aussie can, nice TR programming that leads into an acid build up and then liftoff.
